The participants of the aerial photography contest were given more than a month (from October 8 to November 11) to submit their best drone photography stills. From thousands of entries, these three photos were revealed to be the best:

The 2 People, 2 Dogs & 4 Shadows is a masterpiece submitted by Dronestagram user qliebin of Ukraine. The photo depicts two men each walking a dog along the beach. The subjects were strolling along the Black Sea under a scorching sun, which painted the sand with their shadows.

2nd Place: Fishing Net in Vietnam

As the title suggests, Fishing Net shows a perfectly thrown fishing net in the sea of Vietnam. The green nets and blue boat add accent to the photo and are even more highlighted with the somber colors of the sea. 1st Place: Hungry Hippos

Zekedrone of United States came first with his captivating aerial photo of a group of hippopotamus. The said photo was taken during his trip to Tanzania and was the perfect reflection of an unforgettable exploration.

In partnership with StudioSport, Dronestagram hands the three winners different prizes: a DJI Osmo Mobile 2 stabilizer for the third placer, a Go Pro 7 Black camera for the second-place winner, and a brand-new DJI Spark for the grand winner. If you want to join 2019’s photo contest, get ready and gear up with your quad-copter beasts!
